Roger Federer playing hard in January

Roger Federer is set to play the most matches he has ever played in January.

First, Federer will start with a lucrative exhibition in Abu Dhabi this week that includes Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray.

He will then play in the Qatar Open before competing in the Kooyang Classic in Australia.

At this same time last year, Federer was afflicted with mono unknowingly and it affected his matches at the time.

This year he is hoping the do better than last facing rivals Nadal and Murray. Last year Federer was 1 and 7 against both.
